Thanksgiving Fun
We had a great Thanksgiving day visiting cousins from far and near. There was lots of food, fishing, football and fun conversations.
These two city slickers have apparently never been on a porch swing so they refused to sit in it but would only stand behind it for a pic.
Lauren learning to fish.
And posing for any available camera.

Our Spook-tacular Night
We had an awesome time trick or treating our neigborhood last night. We have a barrel of candy to prove it.
Lauren was a witch.
Complete with a black wart.
Spencer was Anakin Skywalker from the cartoon series.
Hello Anakin.
Stuart was Leatherface and built a spooky scene in the garage. He made our visitors 'work' for their candy. The screams could be heard throughout the neighborhood. And that was just the guys.

But not before a diva pose. Can witches be divas?

Take that Hutch-back. Costumes varied through the evening.
Stuart and his friend.
A good look for him, don't ya think?

The cool night kept us moving fast and even stopping back by the house to unload candy and warm up downstairs. We had lots of activity on our street and with the grave yard scene in the front yard with spooky music, skeletons and a fog machine our house was pretty popular. By 9pm we had to close it up to keep the teenagers away. We were all cold, tired and ready for that extra hour of sleep. Until next year......hope your Halloween was spectacular.
